Focus AGLL Spring 2021 Registration Now Open

The goal of the Focus Girls’ lacrosse league is to provide a fun playing opportunity for 5-8th graders during the Spring.  Our program is for players of all abilities.  We teach and develop beginners, rec players, and also feed into the club season for those players that go on to travel in the summer.  Because of Covid, the format of the league is going to be different than past years; however, we are just as excited to be able to offer lacrosse this spring!  We plan to offer two practices a week allowing players to participate with friends and like skilled players.  We want to offer beginners a place where they can learn the game and more experienced players a place where they can grow and challenge themselves.  We will also offer a playing opportunity on seven Sundays.  While the Sundays will start off in March looking more like a clinic format and rotating stations with different challenges and small sided games, we hope to move to larger sided games in April.  The officiating situation and Covid remain uncertain so we appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this time.  Our number one goal, in addition to safety, is for your daughter to enjoy her experience playing lacrosse this Spring.

About US

Focus AGLL began in the Spring of 2020 after taking over from the Perriellos who began the league in 1980.  The mission remains the same: to give Middle School aged girls of all abilities the opportunity to learn and love the game of lacrosse.

Focus provides quality coaching and instruction to players of all ages and stages, offering programs for players from U8 to U19 in both field hcokey and lacrosse. Whether you are dipping your toe into field hockey or lacrosse for the first time, a player who wants to upskill to get better for your school team or an ambitious athlete with designs on playing in college, Focus can help you meet your goals.

We have a developmental ethos with a strong emphasis on character development through sport, helping athletes become confident, capable young women. Focus espouses a modern, games-based curriculum delivered by highly-invested coaches, who are among some of the most skilled and empathetic teachers of the game in Virginia.
