Focus AGLL began in the Spring of 2020 after taking over from the Perriellos who began the league in 1980. The mission remains the same: to give Middle School aged girls of all abilities the opportunity to learn and love the game of lacrosse.
Focus provides quality coaching and instruction to players of all ages and stages, offering programs for players from U8 to U19 in both field hcokey and lacrosse. Whether you are dipping your toe into field hockey or lacrosse for the first time, a player who wants to upskill to get better for your school team or an ambitious athlete with designs on playing in college, Focus can help you meet your goals.
We have a developmental ethos with a strong emphasis on character development through sport, helping athletes become confident, capable young women. Focus espouses a modern, games-based curriculum delivered by highly-invested coaches, who are among some of the most skilled and empathetic teachers of the game in Virginia.
